This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount. The Operator will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and handling of materials, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Forklift experience would be advantageous but full training can be given.
Duties
Operate and maintain machinery including mills and hand tools for fabrication processes.
Assemble components according to specifications, ensuring quality control throughout the production process.
Perform materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials as required.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety regulations.
Experience
Previous experience in is advantageou by not essential as full training is provided..
Familiarity with materials handling techniques within a warehouse setting is preferred.
Experience using hand toolsZ
