Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures to provide safe access for construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques and the ability to work collaboratively on-site. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and other related trades.

Responsibilities

Construct and assemble scaffolding systems according to project specifications and safety regulations. Dismantle scaffolding safely and efficiently upon project completion. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, to ensure seamless project execution. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for fabrication tasks. Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times. Assist in training new team members on scaffold building techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is preferred. Proficiency in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical work is advantageous. Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations on-site.
