Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures for various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on-site. The Scaffold Builder will ensure that all scaffolding is erected safely and efficiently, enabling smooth operations throughout the construction process.

Duties

Construct, erect, and dismantle scaffolding systems according to project specifications and safety regulations. Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of scaffolding with ongoing work. Use hand tools and power tools proficiently for the assembly and modification of scaffolding structures. Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding to ensure stability and compliance with safety standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Assist in the fabrication of custom scaffolding solutions as required by specific project needs. Provide support in construction painting tasks when necessary.

Qualifications

Proven experience in scaffold building or related fields such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work is highly desirable. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to scaffold construction. Strong understanding of safety practices in construction environments. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Physical fitness is essential as the role involves manual handling and working at heights. A valid health and safety certification would be an advantage but is not mandatory. Pay: 140.00-160.00 per day
