Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures to provide safe access for workers on various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work effectively with a range of tools and materials. The Scaffold Builder will collaborate closely with other tradespeople, ensuring that all scaffolding meets the necessary standards for safety and functionality.

Responsibilities

Construct, erect, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to specifications and safety regulations. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to fabricate scaffolding components. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of scaffolding with ongoing construction activities. Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards. Perform maintenance tasks on scaffolding as required, including painting and repairs. Assist in the training of new scaffold builders in safe practices and proper use of equipment. Follow all health and safety regulations while on site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Experience

Proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is preferred. Familiarity with various construction techniques, including roofing, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, and welding is advantageous. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. A background in carpentry or related trades will be considered an asset. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards on site.

Pay: 130.00-160.00 per day
