Overview

We are seeking a skilled Scaffolder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Scaffolding techniques. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team to deliver high-quality craftsmanship.

Duties

Interpreting blueprints or work plans to determine scaffolding requirements. Inspecting the site to assess access points, ground conditions, and hazards. Building scaffolds using tubes, boards, and fastening systems (e.g., couplers). Assembling scaffolds to required height and strength standards. Ensuring scaffolding is level, stable, and secure. Following strict safety protocols and regulations (e.g., OSHA, HSE). Installing safety netting, guard rails, toe boards, and fall protection as needed. Regularly inspecting scaffolding for damage or instability. Carefully taking down scaffolds when work is complete. Storing or transporting equipment properly. Checking scaffolding components for wear or damage. Replacing or repairing damaged parts promptly. Working closely with site supervisors, engineers, and other construction workers. Communicating effectively to ensure timelines and safety standards are met.

Skills

Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
