Turner Access is the West of Scotland's leading scaffolding company, providing scaffolding and access solutions at all stages of a project's life cycle. We are based in Glasgow, operating throughout the Scotland central belt and into Fife, Perth and Dundee.



Turner Access operate to the highest safety standards and work in accordance with NASC and other industry body requirements. We have a diverse range of clients, and our scaffold contracts service includes supply and erect of system scaffolding, from initial site survey and risk assessment, design and method preparation, through to on-site assembly and dismantling.



Turner Access require scaffolding man in attendance for Edinburgh area for an immediate start to support our on going projects.



Responsibilities:



Assist scaffolders in assembling and dismantling scaffolding structures.

Transport and organise scaffolding materials and tools.

Ensure all scaffolding components are secure and safe for use.

Monitor the work area to prevent unauthorised access or hazards.

Maintain cleanliness and order around scaffolding zones.

Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.

Report any safety concerns or damaged equipment to supervisors.

Support scaffolders with tasks such as tying off, securing platforms, and adjusting heights.

Experience



Scaffolding Man in Attendance 1 year ( required )


Licence/Certificate



Driving licence ( preferred )

Hold a current CISRS Scaffolders Card


Desirable skills include:



Ability to work confidently at heights

Excellent hand-eye coordination

Good level of physical fitness

Awareness of health and safety

Ability to understand technical drawings and plans

Good written and verbal communication skills.


The salary rate is a fall back rate. Salary will predominantly be based on price work.
