ECO Providers stands as a distinguished market leader specialising in energy- efficient home improvements We are currently seeking a skilled Scaffolding team to join our Solar team and contribute to our ongoing projects throughout the UK.
Job Summary:
As part of the Scaffolding team, you will be responsible for the assembly, dismantling, and maintenance of scaffolding systems to ensure safe access for our solar construction projects. You will work closely with project managers and site supervisors to meet project requirements while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to specifications and safety guidelines.
Inspect scaffolding materials and equipment for safety and compliance before use.
Collaborate with construction teams to determine scaffold requirements for various projects.
Ensure work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding structures and address any issues promptly.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Provide support and training to junior scaffolders and apprentices as needed.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organised worksite.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a scaffolder or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Valid scaffolding certification (e.g., CISRS, equivalent) and relevant safety training.
Strong knowledge of scaffolding techniques and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Must be willing to travel all over the UK and stay away from home Monday - Friday.
Must have a suitable storage location for the vehicle whilst not travelling
Ideal team will consist of 2 qualified scaffolders with experience however we will also consider 1 qualified scaffolder and a labourer.
