We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic

canning and Indexing Assistant
to join our successful team to provide support to teams within the council's Revenues service including
Council Tax
and Housing Benefits.
This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of 23,706 - 25,306 per annum.

The Role:
Working in our Revenues Team, you will report to the Revenues and Benefits Controls Team Leader.
Your role will involve:
Opening post and scanning and indexing to customer's accounts
Providing a secure end to end service for incoming post including sensitive documents.
Organising and maintaining the electronic filing system
Ensuring all incoming e-mails are loaded to the council's document imaging system accurately
Undertaking the daily despatch of notification letters
Processing cheque payments received by the department
What we are looking for:
You will be flexible and be able to provide support to the teams where required
You will have the ability to communicate well with colleagues, managers, and the general public
You will have very good administrative and IT skills
You will have the ability to meet challenging deadlines
You will have an excellent attention to detail with high standards of accuracy
