Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Scheduler/Administrator to join our growing team. This role is key to supporting the daily coordination of logistic operations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You'll need to stay calm under pressure, adapt quickly to unexpected changes, and maintain accuracy at all times.

This is ideal for someone with excellent admin experience, sharp IT skills, and a proactive mindset. Full training on schedule-specific systems and processes will be provided.

Location:? Aberdare, South Wales (Hybrid working for part of shift, to be discussed at interview stage) Contract:? Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) Hours:? Monday-Friday, 12pm-8pm Salary:? 27,300
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and create all driver routes while closely monitoring daily logistic operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency Respond quickly and calmly to last-minute scheduling changes Communicate clearly with customer service, drivers, warehouse teams, and other departments to resolve issues and minimise disruption Enter and maintain accurate data in Excel to support management and operational reporting Organise vehicle repairs, schedule regular services and routine maintenance with our local garage, and keep a detailed log of all work carried out Support compliance with company procedures and transport regulations through diligent administration.
Essential Skills & Experience

Proven ability to stay calm and focused under pressure Strong attention to detail, accuracy is critical in this role Excellent administrative and organisational skills High-level IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel and digital systems Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Confident communicator with a problem-solving mindset Positive, flexible, and resilient attitude with a friendly, can-do approach; a reliable team player who stays focused and practical when challenges arise.
Desirable Skills (Not Essential)

Knowledge of logistics or fleet compliance (training provided) Previous experience in transport, scheduling, logistics, or coordination roles Experience in a customer-facing or operations environment Familiarity with route planning or logistics software, preferably experience using Stream.
