Role Overview:



As Scheduling Co-ordinator, you will be required to provide detailed planning for the Manufacturing plant, ensuring the effective placement of required orders while working with our sales team and offering support to customer enquiries regarding planned build and shipment dates.




Key Responsibilities:





As Scheduling Co-Ordinator, the role will include the below:


Generate and manage a manufacturing schedule to meet planned dates for customer orders, continually monitoring information and managing resources. Set promised dates for customer orders and liaise with the Sales Department accordingly. Monitor adherence to plan. Use the company MRP system, to create and print sales orders and associated items. Use the company system, release sales orders / job sheets in a timely manner and follow through to ensure satisfactory completion. Liaise with the Production Manager & Procurement regarding capacity and stock requirements to meet incoming orders. Carry out necessary follow-up activities to ensure sales orders are released and schedules are met. Continuous improvement/development of systems and procedures in support of process improvements and elimination of waste. Maintain good customer relations internally and externally that promote the business. Liaise with sales and Technical Departments to ensure all enquiries are dealt with promptly and in line customer requirements. Develop and maintain effective communication links with fellow colleagues. Share responsibility for answering incoming calls and intercom queries. Other ad hoc duties.



What we're looking for:




Essential:




Previous experience of Scheduling/Planning in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment. Knowledge of material planning and production systems (MRP) Enthusiastic team player who enjoys collaborating and working as a collective to achieve objectives in delivery of first-class service. Confident & approachable telephone manner with internal and external customers. Capable user of office-based IT systems. Ability to work independently or as part of the team in a fast-paced environment. Methodical & accurate approach to work. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Effective problem identification skills. Positive and self-motivated

Tuesday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Wednesday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Friday: 7:00am - 2:45pm
