Yu Smart is a Metering Equipment Manager within the Energy Sector delivering
smart meter installation services.
The Scheduling Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring the effective and
efficient planning of field-based activity across smart meter installations, DRVs, and
warrants, using our Workforce Management tool Field Force. The role combines
advance scheduling, issue resolution, stakeholder engagement, and root cause
analysis to ensure jobs are planned accurately, engineers are fully utilised, and field
appointments are delivered as expected

What We Need from Yu



Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

Manage and optimise daily and weekly engineer schedules using Field Force software (Salesforce FSL). Analyse scheduling exceptions and act swifty to resolve blockers (e.g. access issues, technical flags, route constraints). Take ownership and accountability of failed or at-risk appointments, engaging the correct internal/external stakeholders to drive resolution (e.g. locksmiths, DNO,). Liaise with suppliers, customer service, DNO, and field management to enable successful planning and execution. Plan and allocate off-service time including sickness, holiday, training, and meeting requirements. Support pre-booking requirements including long ladder access, permits, presurveys, and complex job types. Monitor Fieldforce dashboards and performance reports to ensure plan to actual alignment. Log, track, and follow up on scheduling errors or rework drivers to support continuous improvement. Analyse scheduling trends to improve efficiency and service delivery. Provide Intra Day support when necessary. Provide customer support for rearranged appointments as required. Take full ownership of and optimise the scheduling of Transients engineers. Proactively communicate with engineers and stakeholders to manage changes and updates. Maintain accurate records in the relevant systems and ensure data integrity. Escalate resourcing issues and propose solutions to maintain service levels.

Relevant Qualifications / Experience:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Scheduling/workforce management experience Exceptional organisational skills particularly in time and diary management

Desirable:

Experience of the Utilities/Energy industry would be beneficial but is not essential.
