School Administration Manager

Job Description


The Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Greenwich is seeking to appoint an Administration Manager. The Manager will ensure delivery of a high-quality professional service to on- and off-campus academic provision and associated activities at School level.

The role holder will be required to develop, implement and maintain robust administrative systems; ensure correct procedure is followed in accordance with current Academic Regulation; and take a lead within the Faculty administrative team to support development and implementation of Faculty processes, procedures and protocols.

This is a very broad, varied and challenging role, liaising closely with the Head of School and working with academic and administrative colleagues, wider Faculty and university services, and other external stakeholders.

Candidates must have relevant management experience gained in a team leadership role. Proven experience of working at a senior level and of supporting and coordinating a broad range of activities is required. Previous experience of working in the Higher Education sector is desirable.
