School Administrator Role and Responsibilities:
As a School Administrator, you will be at the heart of our school\'s administrative functions. Your responsibilities will encompass:
  • Comprehensive Administrative Support: This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, including managing incoming and outgoing communications, handling phone inquiries, and providing valuable assistance to students, parents/guardians, and staff members.
  • Student Records Management: Maintaining precise and up-to-date student records through our school\'s management information system. This includes inputting and updating student information, overseeing attendance records, and generating relevant reports.
  • Admissions Assistance: Supporting the admissions process by managing applications, maintaining enrollment records, and collaborating with parents/guardians and staff to ensure a seamless transition for new students.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Efficiently managing calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events. This includes reserving rooms, coordinating necessary resources, and sending out invitations or notifications.
  • Financial Support: Assisting with financial tasks, such as processing invoices, monitoring expenses, and maintaining accurate financial records. Collaborating closely with the finance department to ensure adherence to financial procedures.
  • Human Resources Support: Contributing to HR-related tasks, including maintaining employee records, processing leave requests, and participating in recruitment processes.
  • Front Desk Excellence: Serving as the welcoming face of our school by greeting visitors, offering information, and directing them to the appropriate staff or departments. Ensuring a warm and professional atmosphere at the front desk.
  • Office Supplies Management: Carefully monitoring and replenishing office supplies, including stationery, equipment, and materials. Keeping meticulous inventory records and placing orders as needed.
  • Event Support: Playing a vital role in planning, coordinating, and executing school events, including parent-teacher meetings, open days, and assemblies. This may involve logistical arrangements, preparation of materials, and on-site support.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role is essential
  • Proficiency in using the School Information Management System (SIMS) is essential.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • School based administrative experience
  • Experience of using SIMS
