All Saints' CE Primary School is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and proactive
School Based Family Worker
to join our nurturing school community.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone motivated to make a real difference in children's lives. You will work closely with pupils, families, staff, and external agencies, supporting pupils' emotional well-being, behaviour, attendance, safeguarding, and engagement in learning.
We are looking for someone who:
Is passionate about supporting children's emotional, social, and mental health needs
Has experience working with children and young people, ideally within a school setting
Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and families
Has the ability to identify barriers to learning and develop targeted support plans
Can use restorative and trauma-informed approaches to help pupils regulate their behaviour
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Is confident in liaising with external agencies including Social Care, CAMHS, and Early Help
Can maintain accurate safeguarding, behaviour, and attendance records
Is calm, approachable, and able to respond effectively during crisis situations
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils
