School Caretaker

We are currently recruiting for a school in Chester le Street. we are in search of a full-time caretaker, ideally with experience. The role will start in September and be ongoing for the academic year.

Requirements
To be considered for the position of caretaker you will ideally:

Have experience in premises management in a school or similar environment Able to produce/or willing to undertake training to produce risk assessments Competent at basic building repairs and maintenance - DIY skills i.e. plumbing, electrical, joinery and painting and decorating

Have a valid DBS

or are happy to have a DBS processed by us. The hours would be

7.5 per day,

with half an hour unpaid lunch.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS Check that must be registered to the Update Service.
