Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises. Ensure that all restrooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Carry out deep cleaning tasks as required, such as carpet cleaning and window washing. Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Manage waste disposal effectively, ensuring recycling protocols are followed. Assist with setting up facilities for events or meetings as needed. Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when reordering is necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to take initiative in daily tasks.
