Knowl Hill School, Pirbright

Knowl Hill School is a small, friendly school with campuses in Pirbright and Bisley. We are seeking a reliable, practical Caretaker to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is for 20 hours per week, with flexible working hours to meet the operational needs of the school.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out general maintenance and repairs across the school site Undertaking woodwork and carpentry tasks, including minor repairs and improvements Acting as an all-round handyman, responding to day-to-day maintenance needs Maintaining indoor areas including classrooms and communal spaces Maintaining outdoor maintenance, including grounds and external buildings Ensuring the school environment is safe, secure, and well maintained
The Ideal Candidate Will

Be proficient in woodwork/carpentry Have strong general maintenance and DIY skills Be able to work both indoors and outdoors Be reliable, flexible, and capable of working independently Have experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or handyman role (school experience desirable but not essential)
Hours and Salary

20 hours per week (flexible to suit school needs)
