Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our Agency team for temp work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while leading and supervising kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production. Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends. Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels. Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols. Monitor food presentation and portion control to ensure consistency across all dishes. Address any customer feedback or concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Demonstrated ability in team management, with experience supervising kitchen staff effectively. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
