Cleaner required Astmoor Industrial Estate, Arkwright road Runcorn cheshire. 2pm - 4pm Monday to Friday.

School enviroment so DBS is required, no crimal convictions. Term times are 2pm - 4pm, then Holiday/half terms required to work 1 week in feb 10 hours, 1 week in April10 hours, 4 weeks sumer 40 hours, one week Oct 10 hours.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and residential spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and other floor care techniques to ensure they remain pristine and safe for foot traffic. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of machinery areas or large-scale sanitation projects as needed. Assist with janitorial duties including restocking supplies, disinfecting surfaces, and ensuring restrooms are hygienic and well-maintained. Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs needed or potential hazards promptly. Carry out custodial responsibilities that may include window washing, carpet cleaning, or minor painting tasks like residential painting touch-ups to enhance the appearance of the environment. Follow safety protocols consistently during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, custodial work, or related fields such as facilities maintenance or porter experience. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing to maintain flooring quality. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning procedures. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other custodial tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Nice-to-have skills include residential painting experience and basic facilities maintenance knowledge to support broader operational needs.
