Tame Cleaning are hiring for one of our schools in Coventry. This position is permanent. Working 12 Hrs a week Monday to Friday from 3pm.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in schools and commercial cleaning, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This position is crucial in providing a welcoming and safe environment for both staff and visitors.

Duties

Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas. Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and replenished as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is advantageous. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new techniques.
