must have a DBS CHECK to be able to start or willing to undergo a check paid by us

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, supporting the overall upkeep and appearance of commercial, residential, or industrial spaces.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal Utilize specialized cleaning equipment for floor care, buffing, and polishing surfaces Conduct custodial duties such as restroom sanitation and window cleaning Maintain cleanliness of common areas, offices, restrooms, and hallways Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or painting Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment during cleaning operations Use appropriate cleaning agents and tools to meet specific cleaning requirements for different surfaces Document completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and stripping floors Experience with commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, or facilities maintenance preferred Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
