School Cleaner
Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking cleaner to join our supportive team. Ensuring a high level of cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us and we require an individual who is motivated to achieve this for our pupils and staff. Therefore, if you are someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable, friendly and takes the initiative when needed, then you are just who we are looking for!
You will be required to carry out a range of cleaning duties within a specified area of the school adhering to Health & Safety procedures and regulations. Main duties will include:
Maintaining a high standard of cleaning and waste removal in your area of the school
Providing a safe working environment whilst dealing with chemicals, ensuring that they are handled in accordance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Heath (COSHH) Assessments
Ensuring all cleaning schedules are followed
Vacuuming
emptying bins
wiping desks
mopping of hard floors
cleaning bathrooms
dusting etc.
Reliability is essential to this role.
28 days holiday
Term time 39 working weeks
Plus 4 weeks during certain holidays but flexible
Experience would be an advantage
A Dbs check will need to be completed unless the applicant has a recent one
Hours are Monday to Friday between 3.00 to 6pm (2 hours hours a day Monday to Friday)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.80 per hour
