Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Car, fuel, insurance provided. It would be preferable to already have your taxi badge.

Duties

Drive passengers to their desired destinations in a safe and timely manner. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, ensuring it is always presentable for passengers. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, fares, and local attractions. Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with luggage or other items as needed. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger details. Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order, reporting any issues promptly. Assist with deliveries when required, showcasing versatility as both a taxi driver and delivery driver.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record. Experience as a van driver or in commercial driving is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers. Ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally. Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns is advantageous. Willingness to assist with heavy lifting when necessary. A friendly and approachable demeanour that enhances customer experience.
