The Role
We are looking for three School Coordinators to join Ravensbourne University London's School Operations team. These newly created roles will support the Executive Deans leading our three schools:
School of Business, Management and Commerce
School of Computing, Architecture and Emerging Technologies
School of Design, Media and Creative Industries
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Dean and ensuring the smooth and efficient management of School operations and support with their wider portfolio in either Learning and Teaching, Student Journey or International. You will coordinate day-to-day operations, manage key processes, and lead a team of School Administrators. The role also involves coordinating projects and events, promoting consistency across Schools, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
You will be at the heart of the School's operations, working closely with academic leadership and professional services teams to deliver high-quality administrative support to enable the delivery of an excellent student experience and advance strategic priorities.
The Candidate
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced and proactive senior administrator with a background working in higher education. You will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and experience in line management or team supervision. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be liaising with senior stakeholders and building effective relationships across the University.
You should be confident in handling sensitive information, managing diaries, and coordinating multiple workstreams. A keen eye for detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to continuous improvement are key. Experience with finance and HR systems, project/event coordination, and knowledge of current HE sector challenges would be beneficial.
