Job Role - SEN Transport Driver (PCO Licensed)

We are currently hiring

compassionate, reliable, and professional PCO-licensed drivers

to transport

children with special educational needs

from home to school and back.

You will work closely with a

Passenger Assistant (PA)

to ensure children travel safely and comfortably, assisting those with disabilities or additional support needs.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport

SEN children from

home to school and back

.

Pick up the Passenger Assistant (PA) first

, then collect the child and complete the school run.

Ensure vehicle safety

through daily checks and report any mechanical issues.

Follow all traffic laws and local council regulations.

Communicate effectively

with parents, guardians, schools, and our operations team.

Provide a caring, patient, and supportive service

to children with disabilities.

Requirements

MUST hold a valid PCO Licence

(TfL-approved Private Hire Licence)

MUST have an enhanced DBS check

(or be willing to obtain one)

Valid UK Driving Licence

with a clean record

Excellent driving skills and knowledge of London road networks

Previous experience in school transport or SEN transport is preferred

Strong communication and customer service skills
