Your new role You will be a key role within the school responsible for managing the operating costs for all service functions. You will be working closely with the principal, the Finance Director UK schools, the director of Operations and the Head of Admissions as well as the senior Leadership Team. It will your responsibility for the line management of the Finance and Payroll team. This role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Usual working week is Monday-Friday, but with the expectation of some evenings and weekend work on occasions when there may be special events on, such as open mornings. You responsibilities associated with the post will include, but not limited to, the following: Ensure that the accounting and financial record systems are maintained To lead the preparation of management accounts along with detailed and appropriate analysis for business performance improvement To ensure financial accounts are produced monthly, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, within agreed timeframes. Lead the finance teams Make sure all statutory accounting and tax returns are produced and submitted in accordance with legislation. Liaise and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors regarding the statutory accounts and returns Work with the Europe Regional team and Central Finance Team Work with budget holders to determine correct allocation of cost budgets Ensure the school meets all agreed budget levels Produce timely and accurate tuition fee invoices Manage the payroll Administer income protection, pension and private health care schemes for staff. What you\'ll need to succeed Experience in Nav BC is desirable Education to Degree level or equivalent professional qualification You will need the ability to work to tight deadlines and the ability to gather, explain, analyse and consolidate data for management reporting.
