We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced School Finance Officer to oversee the financial operations of our educational institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing budgets, processing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. This role is vital in supporting the school's mission by maintaining accurate financial records and facilitating effective fiscal management. Duties



Manage and monitor the school's budget, ensuring proper allocation of funds across departments Prepare financial reports, statements, and forecasts for school administration and stakeholders Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements accurately and efficiently Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions in accordance with institutional policies Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations Collaborate with school administrators to develop annual budgets and financial plans Utilize financial software to track expenses, revenues, and other fiscal data Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial activities Support procurement processes by reviewing purchase requests and verifying vendor payments

Experience



Proven experience in school finance or a similar educational finance role preferred Proficiency in using financial software systems is essential; experience with specific software such as Sage or other accounting tools is a plus Strong understanding of budgeting, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings effectively Prior experience working in an educational environment is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: 49,056.00-55,323.00 per year
