Kitchen Porter Duties:

Keep kitchen equipment and utensils

clean and sanitized

Organize deliveries and store stock properly Assist with

cleaning kitchen surfaces

and equipment Help with waste management and maintain a

tidy environment

Support the kitchen team with

ad-hoc tasks

to ensure smooth operations

Catering Assistant Duties:

Food preparation assistance

: Help prepare meals, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients.

Meal service

: Serve meals to students, residents, or patients, ensuring dietary needs are met.

Customer service

: Provide excellent service, assisting with meal choices and addressing any dietary concerns.

Cleaning & hygiene

: Maintain a clean kitchen and dining area, ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met.

Stock management

: Assist with organizing and replenishing food stock and supplies.

What You'll Need:

Enhanced DBS Certificate

(Child or Adult Workforce) - must be in-date

Previous kitchen experience

is preferred

Level 1 or 2 Food Hygiene Certificate

(for Kitchen Assistants, or willingness to obtain)
