Our governors come from a range of different backgrounds, skills and experience but all share a common interest of wanting the best possible education for the children in our schools. If your career is just starting, being a governor is a great way to build your CV or, if you are retired or moving to retirement, or not in employment, what a great way to keep active, use your experience, make friends and learn new skills!
No qualifications are needed, just enthusiasm and passion for our children.

As a governor you will:
Attend 6 meetings each year.
Be part of a friendly team.

Build your skills and experience through training.
