The Role

School Governor - Voluntary opportunities throughout Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire

Are you enthusiastic about education and want to make a difference to young people in your community? Or, are you thinking about joining Transform as an educational professional and want to learn more about us through being a governor? If so then we want to hear from you!


Our governors come from a range of different backgrounds, skills and experience but all share a common interest of wanting the best possible education for the children in our schools. If your career is just starting, being a governor is a great way to build your CV or, if you are retired or moving to retirement, or not in employment, what a great way to keep active, use your experience, make friends and learn new skills!


No qualifications are needed, just enthusiasm and passion for our children.
