Job Description

We are looking to appoint a

reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant

to join our busy and friendly school kitchen team.

This is a

term-time only position

, ideal for someone looking for regular hours that fit around family life.

Hours:

20 hours per week

Working pattern:

Monday to Friday (10am - 2.00pm)

The Role

Working as part of our kitchen team, you will help ensure pupils receive nutritious, well-presented meals in a safe and welcoming environment. Duties will include:

Assisting with food preparation and service Setting up and clearing the dining area Washing up and maintaining kitchen cleanliness Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures Supporting the catering team during busy service periods

The Ideal Candidate

Is hardworking, punctual, and a good team player Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with others Experience in a catering or food service role is desirable but not essential An understanding of food hygiene is helpful (training can be provided) Enjoys working in a school environment
