As our School Librarian, you will manage, develop, and promote an inspiring learning resource and information service that supports teaching and learning across the school. Key responsibilities include:
Organising and managing the School Library, ensuring it is well-used by classes, groups, and individuals.
Creating and implementing a library policy that reflects the school's educational aims, while meeting requirements for data protection, copyright, health and safety, and school discipline.
Taking responsibility for the Library budget, including preparing budget bids and estimates.
About You :
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a degree in Library Science or a related field.
Has relevant experience in a school library or a similar setting.
Understands library management systems and digital resources.
Communicates clearly and effectively.
Is well-presented, professional, and calm under pressure.
Brings a friendly and approachable manner.
