John Perryn Primary is a happy, diverse and welcoming two-form entry school in East Acton, Ealing. We are proud of our modern, purpose-built building and our strong school community. We are now seeking to appoint a reliable and caring

School Meals Supervisory Assistant

to support children during their lunchtime.



This role is key to ensuring lunchtimes are safe, positive and enjoyable for all pupils, both in the dining hall and in the playground.

Main duties include:

Supervising pupils during lunchtime, both indoors and outdoors

Supporting children to follow our behaviour policy and encouraging positive play and co-operation

Helping to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times

Responding appropriately to accidents, spillages or incidents in line with school policies

Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children in line with school safeguarding procedures

Acting as a positive role model and engaging with pupils to create a happy lunchtime experience.

We are looking for someone who:

Is punctual, reliable and committed to working to a high standard

Can relate well to children and enjoys working with them

Demonstrates patience, positivity and a caring approach

Works well as part of a team and follows school procedures.
