Job Description

Rikkyo School is a unique school for Japanese pupils in West Sussex (RH12 3BE). The school follows the Japanese curriculum with a IGCSE in Science and a focus on developing English and British experiences. The school is full boarding, for boys and girls aged 10-18.

Job overview

Rikkyo School is seeking a casual minibus driver to join the Transport Team from January 2026. Rikkyo School runs many educational visits, sport fixtures and extracurricular activities through term time and require a casual driver to join the small team to support the school, especially at the weekends.

Having international students and visitors, the school also requires drivers to complete airport transfers to both Gatwick and Heathrow.

The school has a variety of vehicles from small cars up to 17 seat transit minibuses.

Requirements

The successful applicant must hold a full driving license and held D1 entitlement for at least 2 years. They will also need to attend a driving assessment.

Experience of driving larger vehicles is desirable as is driver CPC .

Please note that Rikkyo School follows a Japanese curriculum and due to this, the dates of term times can be different to British schools. A school calendar can be provided on request.

Salary:

20 per hour. Due to the ad hoc nature of the role, it is not possible to say how many hours you will be required for.
