School Minibus Driver

We are looking for a School Minibus Driver to work a small number of set hours throughout the school term with the possibility of extra hours as mutually agreed.

Ideally you would have Driver CPC qualification and a full D1 license to drive a 17-seater minibus commercially. At least a full clean driving license and be willing to train towards this qualification.

Job Purpose:

To drive the school minibus daily for the purposes of picking up pupils before school and dropping off after school. In addition on trips as directed by the head teacher, transporting pupils, staff and parents. To drive in a responsible and competent manner with full responsibility for safety of the passengers. To advise the estate manager of any issues or problems with the minibus so that mistakes can be rectified. To drive the minibus to and from the servicing garage.

Duties:

This job description describes in general terms the normal duties which the post-holder will be expected to undertake. However, the job or duties described may vary or be amended from time to time without changing the level of responsibility associated with the post.

Hours:

Initially 3pm to 6.30pm, plus ad-hoc hours as mutually agreed. Term time working only.

Pay: 13.50 per hour
