Summary

We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team of minibus drivers at St Columba's School in Kilmacolm. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting pupils safely and efficiently, before and after school, 2.5 days per week. This is a job-share position, term-time only, (36 weeks per year).

Responsibilities

Safely transport pupils to and from school Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety inspections Ensure compliance with all traffic regulations and safety standards Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and school staff Assist with loading and unloading of equipment as required Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to the Head of Estates Ensure fuel level is maintained at an acceptable level Participate in training sessions as required including child protection and safeguarding

Qualifications

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Experience in commercial or school bus driving preferred Strong communication skills Ability to work flexible hours as needed Must be a member, or be prepared to become a member of Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme Applicants over age 70 cannot be considered, for insurance reasons
