22.5 hours

Contract:

Permanent, term time plus 3 weeks (41 weeks per year).

Salary:

Connect Grade E Point 9 15,994 (FTE 29,093) per year

Eden Park Primary & Nursery School is looking to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated School Operations Lead to join our team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated, successful, and committed team in a vibrant and dynamic school, situated in the Brixham area of Torbay. As part of the Connect Academy Trust, the base school will be Eden Park Primary & Nursery School and you could be required to work in other schools in the Trust.

Connectis an established family of eight large, successful and happy primary schools in Plymouth and Torbay, educating over 3,300 children and 550 staff and we are seeking a resilient, determined and proactive individual to join us.

The successful candidate will:



have previous experience of working in an administrative/business role, HR admin experience would be desirable

be confident using MS office applications especially excel and word

have experience of problem solving and process improvement

be able to manage conflicting priorities, demanding workload and tight deadlines

have effective communication, influencing and persuasion skills with evidence of forming working relationships and working flexibly across professional and operational boundaries

be self-motivated, resilient and have a sense of humour!

Key responsibilities will include:



Co-ordinating the recruitment processes for the school following the Trust policies and procedures

Maintaining school personnel records in the Trust HR system including issuing of employment contracts, variations to contracts and starters and leavers

Developing and maintaining effective administration systems and procedures and oversee the school office

Being the key liaison between the Trust Shared Services team and the School, and a key contact for staff within the school.
