Split shift - 06:15-09:30 & 14:15-17:15 (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)

Pay:

The Role

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and professional

School Minibus Driver

to operate a

12-seat Mercedes Sprinter minibus

on a dedicated SEN school run. The route includes transporting students with additional needs, including wheelchair users. A Local Authority Passenger Assistant (Escort) will accompany the route, and full training will be provided in wheelchair loading and securing.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport SEN students to and from school on a set route. Provide care, patience, and respect to children and young people with additional needs. Load and securely fasten wheelchairs using the vehicle's rear road ramp (training provided). Work collaboratively with the Passenger Assistant to ensure all students are safe and supported. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects. Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and a student-centred approach at all times. Follow all safeguarding, child protection, and company procedures. Ensure the vehicle remains safe, clean, and roadworthy throughout your shift.
