Aspira Education are recruiting a School Sports Coach to work with a Year 4 pupil with severe ADHD on a 1-1 basis in a primary school setting in Gainsborough. The pupil responds extremely well to movement breaks, outdoor activities, and sports-led strategies to help regulate attention and behaviour.

This is a 5 day per week placement working either 8.30am - 1.30pm or 11-3.30pm.

About the Role



As a School Sports Coach (Behaviour Support) you will:

Support the pupil 1-1, using sports, movement breaks, and structured activities to help regulate energy and re-engage with learning. Build strong, trusting relationships through consistency, calm communication, and positive reinforcement. Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to maintain predictable routines and safe, supportive environments. Help the pupil develop resilience, confidence, and a sense of achievement through active, hands-on strategies. Work in an inclusive school environment where every day brings opportunities to make a real impact.

What We're Looking For



We welcome applicants from backgrounds such as:

Sports coaching, personal training, boxing coaching, youth sports clubs, or outdoor activity leadership Behavioural support, SEMH roles, or outreach work Supporting energetic or neurodiverse young people in education or community settings
You don't need formal teaching qualifications or prior school experience, just the ability to stay calm under pressure, build rapport quickly, and use activity-based approaches to support behaviour.
