School Teaching Assistant
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pmLocation:

Class Teacher / Head of Department / SENCO (as applicable)Job Purpose
To support the teaching and learning of middle school students by assisting teachers in delivering high-quality education, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils.
Key Responsibilities Classroom Support
Assist the teacher in preparing, organizing, and delivering learning activities. Support students during lessons, ensuring they remain engaged and on task. Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning objectives. Help differentiate materials and tasks to meet varying learning needs and abilities. Supervise classroom activities to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
Student Support
Provide guidance, encouragement, and pastoral support to students throughout the day. Support students with additional learning needs, including those with SEN or behavioural challenges. Promote positive behaviour and help students follow school routines and expectations. Monitor student progress and report concerns to the class teacher or appropriate staff.
MUST HAVE ENHANCED DBS!!!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Temp to perm
Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour
