Job Description

School Transport Drivers Wanted.



We are hiring retired or semi-retired caring and reliable part-time drivers to transport special needs students in Thanet during school terms.

Position Details:



- Type: Part-time (school terms only)

- Salary: 250.00 - 320.00 per week

(CASH or PAYE)



- Hours: 18 - 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 7am - 10am and 2pm - 5pm

Responsibilities:



- Ensure safe student transport to and from school.

- Maintain a calm, professional demeanour.

- Communicate effectively with students and parents.

Requirements:

- Valid full clean driving license (must reside in Thanet).

- Minimum 3 years driving experience.

- Dependable character; ideal for semi-retired or retired individuals with flexible schedules.

Pre-employment Costs:



- Assessment driving course: 90.00

- Medical exam: 110.00

- Enhanced DBS check: 64.50 (+ 16/year for updates)

- P/H license: 265.01 for 1 year or 431.71 for 3 years
