Minibus Driver

Newton Abbot Community Transport is a charity which has been helping people get out and about since 1991. NACTA is a valued provider of school transport for local students, Ring & Ride shopper minibuses for local people who have difficulty accessing public transport, Scheduled Bus Services in rural areas and wheelchair-friendly transport to health and social appointments. NACTA also delivers daily living aids and equipment on instruction of DCC/NHS.

We would like a careful, caring driver to join our team, share driving duties and help look after our eight accessible vehicles.

Hours are 37 per week during school term time (39 weeks per year) with some split-shifts and fewer hours during school holidays. There will be the chance of additional hours to cover other drivers' holidays or sickness. In the future we hope to develop new routes and services, there may be opportunities for more or different driving work, in due course.

Job Type: Full time

School term times 37 hours per week, non term time 17 hours per week giving an average of 32 hours per week. salary is annualised so that you receive the same amount every month.
