  • \'GOOD\' secondary school located in Wolverhampton.
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support for KS3 and KS4 students in science.
In order to raise academic performance and attainment levels in the subject, you will work with experienced teachers to support underachieving KS3 and KS4 students as a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant. Without you, the scientific department cannot run well.

You must possess a science degree with a minimum GPA of 2:2 in order to be successful in this role as a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant. To help create an engaging learning environment where inquiry is encouraged, you should also be inherently creative and lively. The abundance of options in the teaching field and your strong desire to become a teacher should fuel these abilities.

Graduating teaching assistants in science work with students of various skill levels, from high achievers to those requiring special education due to conditions including autism, ADHD, EBD, and other cognitive disorders. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are the three science courses that you will study in Key Stage 3&4. Therefore, in order to offer specialised support both within and outside of the classroom, it is your responsibility to stay up to date in each of these areas.

You will receive free on-site training from senior leaders with extensive experience as a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant. They are committed to spending their time in you in order to help you become a successful Science Graduate Teaching Assistant.
