Veritas Education is a leading education recruitment agency dedicated to connecting passionate and skilled educators with schools across the UK. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Kirklees.
The Role: As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your key responsibilities will include: * Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality Science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.

• Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and scientific enquiry.
• Supporting students in developing a strong understanding of scientific concepts and practical skills.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement engaging schemes of work and resources.
• Contributing to the wider school community through participation in extra-curricular activities and science-related events.
• Staying up to date with developments in the Science curriculum and best teaching practices.

The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher who has the following: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

• Strong subject knowledge in Science, with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics preferred.
• Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and engage students.
• A creative approach to lesson planning and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
