A secondary school in Tidworth is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and well-structured science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and assess learning in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work
Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific enquiry in the classroom
Support the progress of students of all abilities through effective teaching and targeted intervention
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement
Contribute to the ongoing development of the science department, including curriculum planning and extracurricular activities
Participate in staff meetings, parent consultations, and school events as required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Have a strong subject knowledge in science, with a specialism in biology, chemistry, or physics
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
Be passionate about teaching and committed to continuous professional development
Work effectively as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team
