The JCB Academy specialises in engineering and business, teaching learners from Y9 to Sixth Form and providing Intermediate (L2) and Advanced (L3) apprenticeship programmes as well as an Engineering T-Level. Our approach pairs classroom learning with practical application, and we have an impressive range of world-class industry partners who help with that. JCB, of course, but also including Bosch Rexroth, Harper Adams University, Rolls-Royce and Toyota Motor Manufacturing. As a teacher at The JCB Academy you will work with wonderful learners in a school which has an innovative education vision, great links to industry and higher education and fantastic facilities. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to organise and be involved in exciting visits and activities linked to your curriculum, as well as to participate in extra-curricular enrichment days and residential trips, both in the UK and overseas. We welcome applications from both qualified and early career teachers. Not a qualified teacher? No problem. You'll need a degree to back up your subject area expertise, but what's most important is being able to inspire learners with your passion for science. We'll train you on the rest.
