We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated

Science Teacher

to join our secondary school in Rye on a

full-time temporary contract

starting immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality science teaching and supporting students' progress across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Science curriculum Motivate and support students of varying abilities Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing meaningful feedback Contribute to the wider life of the school, including departmental meetings and activities Maintain a positive, well-managed learning environment

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) Ability to teach across KS3 and KS4 Excellent communication and organisational skills Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
