What We Offer

Salary:

25,304 rising to 25,835 per year, with the potential to progress into higher-graded roles

Contract Type:

Permanent, Full Time - 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Year-Round Employment:

No unpaid breaks between contracts

What You'll Do

Prepare, maintain, and set up laboratories for practical science sessions Ensure laboratories are safe, compliant, and well-organised Support teaching staff and students during practical experiments Manage chemicals, equipment, and stock levels in line with health and safety requirements Maintain specialist scientific equipment and ensure accurate record-keeping

What You'll Bring

A level 2 qualification or above in Science, Applied Science, Laboratory Technology, or a related discipline

(or relevant practical laboratory experience you're keen to apply in education)

Experience working in a laboratory, scientific, healthcare, or technical environment A methodical, safety-conscious approach with strong attention to detail
