About this Role




We are looking to recruit a Science Technician to provide technical support within the Nottingham Academy, Secondary Site!



The role:




Working closely with the Science department staff, your duties will include the effective preparation of rooms and resources required for demonstrations and practical lessons in both subjects, as well as managing displays and interior spaces within the department. You will also be responsible for purchasing materials and resources within the allocated budget.


You will need to have knowledge of COSHH and ESCC regulations in relation to the safe handling and storage of chemicals as well as knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, specifically in relation to working within a school environment. A science interest/background and other relevant qualifications are desirable.
