About Quality Teach Private Tuition

Quality Teach Private Tuition provides high-quality, personalised tuition for students across KS3, GCSE, and A Level. We work with a mixed student profile, supporting learners from mainstream settings as well as those who need a more tailored, confidence-building approach.

We pride ourselves on matching experienced tutors with students who benefit from strong subject knowledge, clear explanations, and a calm, professional teaching style. As demand continues to grow, we are looking to expand our team with an outstanding Science tutor.

The Role

We are seeking qualified and experienced Science tutor to deliver engaging, effective tuition across KS3, GCSE, and A Level. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working one-to-one or in small groups and who value flexibility, autonomy, and high standards.

Most sessions will be delivered in person, with some online tuition available where appropriate. Tutors will initially be offered minimum of 6 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase hours as demand grows.

Subjects & Levels

KS3 Science GCSE Science (Combined and Triple)

A Level Biology is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Science tuition tailored to individual student needs. Support students to build subject knowledge, confidence, and exam readiness. Adapt teaching strategies to suit a mixed range of learners. Track progress and provide clear feedback to students and parents where appropriate. Maintain a professional, reliable, and student-centred approach at all times. Uphold safeguarding standards and professional boundaries.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for tutors who bring

strong subject expertise and proven teaching experience

.

You will ideally have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

or

significant experience as a Science tutor. Strong knowledge across KS3 and GCSE Science. The ability to teach at least one Science at A Level (Biology preferred). Experience working with a range of learners, including those who need additional support. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliability, professionalism, and a genuine passion for education.
