Your Role...




As a Scientific Content Writer, you will be a key member of the content delivery team, planning and creating high-quality technical written content across multiple channels to support client marketing goals. You will work closely with a range of our subject matter experts (SMEs), marketing strategists, and clients to develop compelling content that aligns with clients' scientific and business objectives.

What does a Scientific Content Writer do?



Content Strategy & Development



Develop and execute strategic content plans aligned with client goals and audiences. Conduct research, analyse competitors, and interview subject matter experts to inform content themes. Maintain client master documents and ensure content aligns with marketing objectives.

Content Creation & Optimisation



Write and optimise content across various formats, from articles and brochures to whitepapers and social content. Repurpose and refine existing content to suit different channels and target audiences. Ensure all content is SEO-friendly and aligned with digital marketing best practices.

Client & Team Collaboration



Work closely with account managers to ensure content meets client needs and expectations. Support peer review and quality control processes for scientific and technical content. Provide strategic recommendations to clients based on content performance and insights.

Process Improvement & Innovation



Enhance efficiency and content quality through process improvements and the adoption of new tools. Leverage AI and digital solutions for content creation and review. Contribute to internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to elevate team expertise.

We are looking for a talented and versatile writer with a passion for life sciences and technical storytelling. You should be able to translate complex scientific concepts into engaging, accessible, and high-quality marketing content that resonates with industry professionals.

Track Record



Experience of working/academic background within Life Sciences. Demonstrable experience in creating scientific or technical content for life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industries. Experience in writing thought leadership content, such as whitepapers, articles, and research reports would be desirable. Previous experience in a medical communications or medical affairs role would be beneficial.

Content & Research Expertise



Excellent research skills with the ability to extract insights from technical sources. Strong proofreading and editing skills with a keen eye for detail. An understanding of SEO-driven content creation and digital marketing best practices.

Collaboration & Communication



Ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences. Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams. Confident in conducting subject matter expert interviews and developing insightful content from discussions.

Leadership & Initiative



Proactive approach to learning, problem-solving, and process improvement. Ability to work independently and manage multiple high-priority projects. Commitment to upskilling and knowledge-sharing within the team.
